Interpreting in general is characterized by its immediacy: interpreters give a first and final rendering of a previously expressed message in real time and for immediate communicative use.
I have been working for more than 15 years as simultaneous and consecutive interpreter. I have recenly added remote interpreting to my list of services.

Since 2019 I am an accredited Conference Interpreting Agent (AIC) to the EU Institutions working with English, Portuguese, Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Galician and Bosnian into Spanish.
Since 2003 I am a court interpreter for Galician and English appointed by the Galician Government – Xunta de Galicia.
“A” languages: Galician, Spanish
“C” languages: English, Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian, Portuguese, German, Slovene
Return (“B” languages): I offer basic return to all my “C” languages. Depending on several factors, I might work with some of my “C” languages as “B” languages (i.e. interpreting from Spanish or Galician into some of these languages).

As a freelance, my experience includes the most diverse clients, venues and events as well as a wide array of topics. Besides, I have worked in-house for the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), providing interpretation services in diplomatic meetings, technical trainings, international conferences and intergovernmental events.

I use SDL MultiTerm to prepare the glossaries and technical vocabulary needed.
