Educational Background

  • I hold a BA in Translation and Interpretation studies from the University of Vigo (2002).
  • I also hold a MAS in Translation and Paratranslation from the University of Vigo (2007).

The topic of my dissertation was the ideology on the translations of Ivo Andrić’s works.

I also work as a train dispatcher for the Deutsche Bahn after having successfully passed the relevant training.

My source languages are: Bosnian, Croatian, English, German, Portuguese, Serbian and Slovene. My target languages are Spanish and Galician I also translate from Spanish into Galician and vice versa. Besides, I am a sworn (certified) translator for English and Galician. Linguistic tools Regarding CATs, I own the latest versions of SDL 2022 and MemoQ. Consecutive ,Simultaneous ,Whispering, Telephone interpreting, Video remote interpreting ,Escort interpretin Since 2019 I am a Conference Interpreting Agent (AIC) to the EU Institutions working with English, German, Portuguese, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Montenegrin and Galician into Spanish. Since 2003 I am a court interpreter for Galician and English appointed by the Galician Government – Xunta de Galicia.
